Scary storms and special support slots
Storm Babet has been wreaking havoc across the UK and I'm sending thoughts and hugs to anybody affected by the damage. In lighter news though, the crazy Babet rains did something kind of cool to my hair ...so naturally I took a selfie! The digital algorithm gods love a selfie!
Big thanks to everyone who came out to my shows and festival slots throughout the summer. It's been a lovely year for live gigs, and after a very busy year last year releasing singles and the Cloud of Dust EP, I've enjoyed not having the pressure of recording and releasing music this year and being able to just concentrate on the live shows. And I have some absolutely lovely support slots next month to finish the year off. I'm supporting the amazing badass Swedish sister trio Baskery on three of their UK tour dates - Kendal on 1st Nov, Robin Hood's Bay on 2nd Nov, and Sheffield on 8th Nov. I've supported these gals before and they're AMAZING so come out to a show if you can! Then on 19th Nov I'm opening the night at the Underground in Bradford for the amazing Ags Connolly and Summer Dean. What a nice few shows to finish off the year!
And finally, it will be a long time before anything is finalised for release into the world, BUT ...this month I've just started working on a new recording! I'm super excited for this next chapter and can't wait to share new music with you at some point in the hopefully not too distant future!
Take care folks. Hopefully see you out on the road somewhere soon :)
