The road is long... (but it's great)
Yes, that's a life-size poster of me! I nearly fainted when I got to the Long Road festival and saw it outside the Honky Tonk bar! I was so honoured to be selected again by the Americana Music Association UK to play the Front Porch stage at the first ever Long Road. We had an amazing time and I got to meet Baylen Leonard and Bob Harris, and saw some amazing artists. It was the perfect way to round off the festival season.
I've played some other great events in the last few weeks, including supporting my dear friends Tsarzi and Rhiannon Scutt, sharing a bill with 'Mandolin Jack' (yes, Mandolin Jack and Banjo Jen!) and being part of Sheffield Makes Music in conjunction with BBC Music Day. I'm also looking forward to some lovely gigs next month, including supporting the wonderful Martin Stephenson on his Gladsome, Humour & Blue 30th Anniversary tour. Then I'm looking forward to a little break over the winter to work on songs and to catch my breath before getting on the road again next year!
